The Meeting was called to order at 6:47 PM by Matt Breeding, President of the WCRC.
Prayer was led by Fred Propheter, and the Pledge of Allegiance was led by Chris Burnett
Matt recognized the elected officials attending the meeting for their dedication to service.
Quorum was validated by John McElroy, the Treasurer.
The Treasurer’s report was given by John McElroy and was unanimously approved.
May’s Secretary Minutes, that were posted on the website, were addressed and anonymously
approved.
Matt announced that he was not running for re-election as County Treasured
John McElroy will file for County Treasurer – with backing from Matt.
Gun raffle tickets are still available.
Pat Leone announced that Senator McKay will be having a Golf Tournament on Friday, September
12 th , and gave out flyers with the information.
A Summer Picnic will be held at the Potomac Fish and Game Club on September 11 th starting at 5:00
PM.
Terry Baker announced a Washington County House of Republican Fall Festival will be held free of
charge on October 30 th 5PM to 7PM at the Potomac Fish and Game Club.
A nominating committee was formed for 2026 election for: Vice President and Secretary in 2026.

Jeremy Tindal discussed issues with the response/nonresponse requests from the Freedom of
Information Act. A Committee was requested to be formed to understand the issues and how to
get better responses from both the Information Act and directly from elected officials.
Chris Burnett spoke and announced that he is running for U.S. Congress. His goals are to fight for
families and small businesses and develop more job opportunities and empower local growth. He
wants to support Law Enforcement and strengthen our Military and protect Veterans.
Matt introduced our Guest Speaker, Katie _ who spoke on how to prepare for
Emergency Disasters.
o Form groups of 4 or 5 families
o Have supplies available
o Katie closed with questions and answers.
Chris Burnett spoke about how important it is to be prepared for an emergency as Katie mentioned
and to recognize what is available and be organized in total support of Katie’s presentation.
Chuckie Johnson will be running for Sheriff of Washington County.
The 50/50 was pulled and ________ won $62.00 and two other items were won in
addition to the 50/50.
Matt asked to adjourn the meeting at 8:25 of the social club and it was unanimously approved.
